Amid the world-class institutions and remarkable architecture of University Circle, our 2025 Annual Benefit will take you inside some hidden gems of interest to history and architecture enthusiasts.

5:30 – 6:30 pm Tours of two Sacred Landmarks both within a short walk of the ballroom — University Circle United Methodist Church (UC-UMC) and Pentecostal Church of Christ.

Known affectionately as the Church of the Holy Oil Can, UC-UMC was recently listed for sale and may be adapted into a new use. Our tour will highlight the history of the building and its congregations while also discussing the challenges and vision for adapting such a monumental and significant building.

The architectural elements in the sanctuary of Pentecostal Church of Christ have been fully restored and are magnificent. Work to repair and restore the exterior is now needed. Our tour will discuss what yet needs to be done and how the church is pursuing new funding sources, while celebrating what has been accomplished in this beautiful sacred space.

In an historic 1923 Beaux Arts jewel, enjoy musical entertainment, heavy Hor D ’Oeuvres & Wine/Beer and a raffle!
