Cleveland Restoration Society invites its members to a SNOOP! tour in Cleveland Heights.

An unexpected opportunity to visit two recently renovated homes in Cleveland Heights before they are put on the market was too good to pass up! We are calling it a “pop-up” SNOOP! and we hope you will join us on Saturday, Aug. 23.

Matt Katz bought 2135 Coventry Road several years ago. A 1915, 3,800 square foot duplex in a small area of duplexes, Matt found the house in poor condition, to put it mildly. He says he has found satisfaction in saving it and making a positive impact on the neighborhood. He’s hoping to find an owner-occupant who will live on the second and third floors with the option of using the two-bedroom first floor unit for rental income.

A short drive away is 2970 Fairmount Boulevard, a 9,000 square foot 1926 Meade & Hamilton designed house. The house had just two owners in its 100-year history. Benjamin Knight, of Palmieri Builders, is the project manager. He describes the overhaul of the house as a “meticulous restoration” to recreate the look and feel of a house from the 1920s.

We will limit the number of registrants to make it a more enjoyable experience for all so don’t delay signing up!
