Our next SNOOP! tour will take place at Trinity Block, an adaptive reuse development in the heart of Lakewood, recently awarded the 2025 Preservation Award from the city and its Heritage Advisory Board.

The project has brought new life to the historic Trinity Lutheran Church building on Detroit Avenue and two vacant storefronts to create a mixed-use development of retail, dining, office and green space. 

Trinity Block’s developers, Maria and Frank Scalish, of Scalish Construction, will be on hand to share the journey from project conception and purchase through design and construction. 

“Designed to bridge the gap between downtown and the west end, it’s more than a restoration—it’s a destination. By connecting local businesses and inviting the surrounding suburbs in, we’re building momentum for the whole community,” says the company’s website.
